A collection of handwoven jacquard fabrics.

It is a range of highly-textured and 3-dimensional fabrics developed for the Autumn/Winter’12 collection of Studio Akaaro. The collection was showcased at the prestigious Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week, Delhi; Capsule, Paris; Alchemy, London & Origin, London.

The collection has also been featured in  “Unfolding, Contemporary Indian Textiles” book by Maggie Baxter.

One of the garments also won a Silver Award at the 8th International Shibori Symposium, HongKong. It was exhibited at Polytechnic University of Hongkong during the Month of December 2011.
