A range of woven surfaces using traditional weaving techniques of Kadawan and Katrawan but with a modern twist. 

 

Tactile Shimmer is a bridge between two modes of my most personal expressions.: Photography and Weaving. I have always been fascinated with the idea of registering light in a frame against the darkness. This inclination made me develop a range of abstract photographs capturing the movement of light against the dark sky. These frames inspired me to recreate this very visual experience into something tactile.
